Questions

About plans and payment

Does every Trex IPTV plan include the same channels?

Yes. There is no tier that withholds content — every plan carries the full line-up. The differences between plans are the length of the term and how many devices can stream simultaneously. If a channel is missing for you it is a source or mapping issue to report, not something a bigger plan would unlock.

How far ahead does the programme guide go?

Seven days on the channels that publish that far, which is most of them. The guide arrives as a separate XMLTV dataset joined to the channel list by an identifier, so its depth depends on what the broadcaster publishes rather than on your subscription. Where a channel shows nothing at all, the identifier has usually drifted and we can remap it.

Why does the guide look shifted by a few hours?

Because your player is converting the times with the wrong timezone. XMLTV timestamps carry an offset and the player converts them to whatever region it thinks it is in. If every programme on every channel is out by the same constant amount, that is the conversion — check the device timezone. If it is wrong on some channels and right on others, that is mapping and it is ours to fix.

Is live sport reliable during big fixtures?

That is the case worth judging any service on, because demand spikes and everyone in a country wants the same match at the same second. Fast motion is also where encoders are exposed — a channel that looks perfect during the news can block up during a match at the same nominal bitrate. Open the channel ten minutes early, use a wired device if you have one, and prefer a rock-solid 1080p feed over a 4K one that stops twice.

Can I watch on the television and a phone at the same time?

Only if the plan allows more than one connection. Each simultaneous stream consumes a slot and the limit is enforced at the server, not in the app — which is why exceeding it often produces no clear error, just playback that refuses to begin. Count the real household peak before choosing.
